ELECTION WORKERSÂ
Local elections depend on people willing to step up and serve.

This November, Wade Against…, with support from Double Haul Solutions, wants to encourage the next generation of local government professionals to experience that work firsthand. If you are a current Michigan MPA student, or a recent graduate, who works the November election in support of a municipal clerk, Wade Against… will buy you pizza as a small thank-you for giving your time to public service. Double Haul Solutions has committed to funding at least the first $500 of the program.

Working an election is an opportunity to see one of local government’s most important responsibilities up close, gain practical experience, support your community, and better understand the work of municipal clerks.

Eligibility: Current or recently graduated Michigan MPA students are encouraged to participate, particularly those with an interest in local government.

Registration: Sign up to work the November election through a Michigan municipal clerk’s office, then complete the form linked below to register with Wade Against….

Timeline: After the election, we’ll follow up with registered participants regarding the pizza reimbursement or fulfillment process.
